  • 1 cup chopped raw broccoli
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add shredded carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle in the flour, stirring to combine for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  6. Add smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, bringing it to a gentle boil.
  7. Toss in the chopped broccoli and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat and stir in the milk thoroughly.
  9. Add shredded white cheddar, stirring until melted and creamy.
