A creamy and rich Homemade Chicken Alfredo with tender chicken and perfectly cooked fettuccine, perfect for any occasion.

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Top with sliced chicken and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
