Description

A creamy and rich Homemade Chicken Alfredo with tender chicken and perfectly cooked fettuccine, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  5. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Top with sliced chicken and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
