- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet in a single layer and cook without stirring for about 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside to keep it tender.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Cook until the onions are soft, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet and add the soy sauce. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
