- 9 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Measure 9 cups of Chex cereal and place it in a very large mixing bowl.
- Over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of butter, 1 cup of chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter together while stirring constantly.
- Once melted, stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal in 3 stages, folding gently to coat.
- Place 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 cup of festive sprinkles in a large, airtight plastic bag and shake to combine.
- Add the coated Chex cereal in stages to the sugar bag and toss to cover. Remove it to a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer and chill in the fridge for about an hour.
- Remove and enjoy at room temperature or chilled.
