Description

A simple and delicious churro cheesecake recipe perfect for parties, combining creamy cheesecake with a cinnamon-sugar crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a solid layer.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and carefully place it over the cream cheese filling.
  7. Pour the melted butter evenly over the top dough layer.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the butter.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp.
  10. Let the cheesecake cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • Chill the cheesecake for at least 2 hours before slicing for clean cuts.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance.
  • For an extra touch, drizzle with caramel sauce or add a pinch of cayenne to the cinnamon sugar.
  • This churro cheesecake is great for potlucks and large gatherings.
