Description

A comforting bowl with crispy chicken, rich marinara, and creamy cottage cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick using a meat mallet.
  2. Set up a breading station with beaten egg in one bowl and panko breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning in another.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in egg wash and coat with panko mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet and sear the breaded chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce followed by cooked chicken, cottage cheese, remaining sauce, and top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
