- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (120g)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill (15g)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (30ml)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (0.5g)
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional) (50g)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, yogurt, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- If using, add the thinly sliced red onion to the bowl.
- Gently toss all ingredients together until well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, give the salad another gentle toss. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- For an even more intense flavor, prepare the salad a few hours ahead of time and let it chill in the refrigerator.
