  • 8 oz Dried Pasta Noodles (Choose any shape like spaghetti or penne.)
  • 3 tbsp Butter (Unsalted preferred.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic Cloves (Fresh garlic is key for flavor.)
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (Freshly grated for the best flavor.)

  • to taste Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Parsley (Optional for garnish.)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add the dried pasta noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Save ¾ cup of cooking water, then drain the noodles.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the drained pasta directly into the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat the noodles, then stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until it melts.
  4. Gradually pour in the reserved pasta cooking water, starting with ¼ cup, stirring continuously until the sauce is glossy and clings to the noodles.
  5. Season the noodles with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Serve on plates and garnish with additional Parmesan and chopped parsley, if desired.
