A delightful blend of sweet honey and savory garlic, this Honey Garlic Chicken is an easy yet impressive dish perfect for cozy weeknights or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken in a large ziplock bag or bowl and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Lightly spray your baking dish with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.
  5. Arrange the marinated chicken in the prepared baking dish and pour any remaining marinade over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
