Description

These Honey Mustard Chicken Sliders are a delicious blend of tender chicken and sweet honey mustard, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (Cut into slider-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (Use gluten-free flour for a suitable option)
  • 1 tsp Paprika (Add smoked paprika for a twist)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (Fresh garlic can be used for robust flavor)
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder (Omit if sensitive to onions)
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Adjust based on spice preference)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 large Eggs (Use a flax egg for vegan version)
  • 2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs (Traditional breadcrumbs are a softer alternative)
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (Canola or avocado oil can be used)
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise (Greek yogurt is a lighter option)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard (Substitute with spicy brown if desired)
  • 1 tbsp Honey (Maple syrup is a vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (Regular vinegar can work in place of this)
  • 6 pieces Slider Buns (Try whole wheat or gluten-free)
  • 6 slices Cheddar Cheese (Feel free to experiment with other cheeses)
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Any leafy green works well)
  • 2 medium Sliced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Pickle Chips

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces, roughly 2-3 inches long.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour mixture, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with panko.
  4. Rest the breaded chicken on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high temperature, about 350°F.
  6. Fry chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer cooked chicken to a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  8. Whisk together sauce ingredients until smooth.
  9. Toast slider buns lightly and spread honey mustard sauce on both halves.
  10. Assemble sliders with chicken and desired toppings.
  11. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
