Ingredients
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 225ml/8fl oz milk
- 125ml/4fl oz double cream
- 2 bananas, sliced into discs
Instructions
- In a heatproof bowl, whisk the
egg, custard powder, sugar, milk
and cream until smooth. - Put the bowl over a pan of
simmering water. Stir constantly
over a low heat for 5 minutes or
until the custard thickens slightly
and coats the back of a wooden
spoon. Remove the bowl from the
heat and gently stir in the banana. - Serve hot
