Notes
- For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- You can use gluten-free flour as a substitute for all-purpose flour.
- Consider toasting spices lightly before adding for deeper flavor.
- Avoid overmixing the batter to prevent tough bites.
- Use room temperature ingredients for easier combining.
- Do not overfill the muffin tin to prevent overflow.
- Monitor baking time as ovens vary.
- Cool bites slightly in the tin before transferring to a wire rack to prevent sticking.
- For a spicier bite, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Experiment with other herbs like thyme, rosemary, or basil.
- Try different cheeses like cheddar, Gruyere, or provolone.
- Store cooled bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes.
