Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil, oregano, basil, and garlic powder to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Cover and let rise again for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
