- Prepare the dough: Mix flour, yeast, and warm water to form a smooth dough. Knead for 8-10 minutes until elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Make the garlic butter: Melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add 2-3 minced garlic cloves, stirring for about 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Shape the bites: Punch down the risen dough to release air. On a floured surface, divide the dough into small pieces, about 1-inch in size, and roll each into a ball. Dip each ball into the garlic butter, ensuring good coating.
- Add Parmesan: Generously sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over each buttered dough ball, pressing lightly to help it stick.
- Bake the bites: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the coated dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about an inch apart. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
