Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 packets taco seasoning blend
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
  • 3 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (divided)
  • Pizza crust prepared to fit a 15×10 baking sheet
  • Cornmeal for dusting
  • Fresh romaine lettuce, shredded
  • Diced tomatoes
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sliced black olives

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until crumbled and drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning blend and water to the meat, stir, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and dust a baking sheet with cornmeal.
  4. Roll out the pizza crust to fit the baking sheet.
  5. Spread seasoned beef evenly over the crust.
  6. Top with diced green chilies.
  7. Sprinkle 2 cups of cheese over the top.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and olives.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
