- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 packets taco seasoning blend
- ½ cup water
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 3 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (divided)
- Pizza crust prepared to fit a 15×10 baking sheet
- Cornmeal for dusting
- Fresh romaine lettuce, shredded
- Diced tomatoes
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup sliced black olives
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until crumbled and drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning blend and water to the meat, stir, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and dust a baking sheet with cornmeal.
- Roll out the pizza crust to fit the baking sheet.
- Spread seasoned beef evenly over the crust.
- Top with diced green chilies.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of cheese over the top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and olives.
- Slice and serve hot.
