- 1 cup (200g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (5g) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon (5g) ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) salt
- 3 cups (240g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (150g) raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are set.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
- For extra chewiness, do not overbake.
