Description
Szechuan Green Bean Stir Fry is a flavorful dish that combines green beans and ground chicken in a spicy sauce. It’s quick to make and perfect for a weeknight meal.

- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound green beans (fresh)
- 2 pounds ground chicken
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 Tablespoons chili garlic sauce
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add green beans and sauté 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beans begin to brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
- To the same skillet, heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken and minced garlic; cook, crumbling, 4-5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
- In a glass measuring cup or bowl, combine the sauce ingredients and mix well. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add the green beans back to the skillet and stir to coat. Continue cooking 2-3 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken.
Notes
- This dish is best served hot.
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili garlic sauce.
- Use fresh green beans for the best flavor and texture.
