- 1 cup chocolate chips plus more for the top (170 grams)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8 square pan, lining it with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and whisk with ⅔ cup of sugar until glossy. Set aside to cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs with the remaining sugar until airy.
- Gradually whisk the cooled butter mixture into the egg mixture.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt over the egg mixture, mixing gently until incorporated.
- Fold in chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Top with additional chocolate chips, if desired, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
