  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture and slice it into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Toss the tofu strips in the marinade and let them soak for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
