Description
Perfectly Crispy Air Fryer Cod, seasoned to perfection and lightly coated with crispy panko breadcrumbs. Our favorite way to do Friday fish fry – no frying necessary!
Ingredients

- 1 pound cod
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Cut the fish into 6-8 portions.
- Using 3 bowls, add the flour and half of the seasonings to the first one, add the beaten eggs to the second one, and add the panko crumbs and remaining seasonings to the third one. Mix the seasonings into the flour and bread crumbs.
- Using a fork, dip each portion of fish into the flour mixture, followed by the egg mixture and finally the bread crumbs. Be sure the fish is fully coated after each step, using your hands to press the bread crumbs onto the fish if necessary.
- Transfer the breaded fish into an air fryer that has been pre-heated to 400°F. Spray lightly with olive oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping after 5 minutes and spraying with additional oil as desired. Fish is done when internal temperature reaches 145°F.
