  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 cups Cooking Oil

Instructions

  1. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Submerge in buttermilk and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Combine flour, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  3. Remove chops from buttermilk, drip off excess, and dredge in flour mixture. Let them rest for about 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan to 350°F. Fry chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer cooked chops to a wire rack, lightly season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately.
