Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

  • 4 ounces Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Softened Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle yeast over and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, salt, and eggs. Add bloomed yeast and knead for 8-10 minutes.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Punch down dough, roll into a 12×18 rectangle, spread cherry filling, roll tightly, and slice into 12 pieces.
  5. Arrange in a greased pan, let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  7. Prepare icing by mixing cream cheese, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Drizzle icing over warm rolls and serve.
