Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 12 oz. Chocolate Chips
  • Saltine Crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil for easy cleanup.
  3. Place one layer of saltines in the pan, close together.
  4. In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers and bake for 7 minutes, until golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot cracker base. Let sit for 1 minute.
  7. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers.
  8. Add desired toppings, such as nuts or sprinkles.
  9. Refrigerate to cool, then break into pieces to enjoy.
