A quick and easy holiday treat made with crunchy saltines, rich butter, sweet chocolate, and a hint of salt.

- 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 12 oz. Chocolate Chips
- Saltine Crackers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a 9×13 inch pan with foil for easy cleanup.
- Place one layer of saltines in the pan, close together.
- In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes while stirring.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers and bake for 7 minutes, until golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot cracker base. Let sit for 1 minute.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers.
- Add desired toppings, such as nuts or sprinkles.
- Refrigerate to cool, then break into pieces to enjoy.
