Ingredients

  • Cherry tomatoes (a handful, sliced in half)
  • 1/2 paprika (diced)
  • Oregano (a sprinkle to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons of tomato paste
  • 2 dl heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 dl cooking water
  • Pasta of your choice
  • Basil (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, salting the water.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion in a pan until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes, diced paprika, oregano, and salt; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, heavy cream, and cooking water until well combined.
  5. Add the cooked pasta, tossing to coat evenly.
  6. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil on top.
