- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion for about 3 minutes until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Stir in ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add sliced mushrooms, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour and chicken broth until smooth, then pour into the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Serve the creamy turkey stroganoff over the cooked noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
