Description

A warm and comforting dish of creamy turkey stroganoff featuring sautéed onions, garlic, mushrooms, and tender turkey served over egg noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion for about 3 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together flour and chicken broth until smooth, then pour into the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Reduce heat to low and stir in sour cream, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  8. Serve the creamy turkey stroganoff over the cooked noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
