- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 cup Neutral oil
- 1/2 cup Tonkatsu sauce
Instructions
- Press tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15-20 minutes, then slice into 1-inch thick cutlets.
- Set up a breading station with cornstarch, seasoned breadcrumbs, and heated oil in a skillet.
- Dredge each tofu slice in cornstarch, ensuring even coverage.
- Coat the tofu cutlets in seasoned breadcrumbs and set aside.
- Fry the breaded tofu cutlets in hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain excess oil on paper towels after frying.
- Serve with tangy tonkatsu sauce and enjoy.
