- For the streusel topping:

- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips.
- To make the streusel topping, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl, then drizzle melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets and sprinkle the streusel topping over each ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
