Description

All the flavors of Chicken Parm made extra easy with ground chicken. This Ground Chicken Parmesan is made in one pan and ready in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (16 ounces, about 2 cups)
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (toasted)
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley or basil)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground chicken, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Sauté, crumbling, until chicken is no longer pink.
  2. Add the marinara sauce and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  4. Top with toasted panko crumbs; garnish with fresh herbs and additional Parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve over spaghetti or pasta of your choice.
