- 10 slices White Bread
- 1 cup Ham
- 1 cup Turkey
- 1 cup Swiss Cheese
- 6 large Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the day-old white bread into bite-sized cubes and place half of them into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle a layer of diced ham, shredded turkey, and Swiss cheese over the bread cubes.
- Add the remaining bread cubes on top of the ham, turkey, and cheese layers.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, maple syrup, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered ingredients and let the bread soak.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top before baking.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

- Day-old bread is preferable for better absorption of the egg mixture.
- Substitute ham with smoked turkey or crispy bacon if desired.
- Cooked chicken can work as an alternative to turkey.
