Description

Delightful Pizza Eggs combine classic pizza flavors with eggs for a savory breakfast, brunch, or quick dinner.


Ingredients

  • 3 EGGS
  • 60G (APPROX. 2 OZ) REDUCED-FAT CHEESE, GRATED
  • 1 TBSP PASSATA (ABOUT 15G)
  • A FEW SLICES OF SALAMI (APPROX. 20G)
  • MIXED HERBS

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, sprinkle half the grated cheese across the pan, and let it melt and slightly crisp.
  2. In a mixing bowl, crack the three eggs and whisk until smooth, adding a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the whisked eggs over the melted cheese in the pan, cover, and cook until the bottom is firm and golden.
  4. Carefully flip the egg-cheese base using a spatula.
  5. Spread the passata on top, layer with slices of salami and remaining cheese, cover, and heat until cheese melts.
  6. Remove from pan, sprinkle with mixed herbs, and serve immediately.
