- 1.5 cups Uncooked Rice
- 16 oz Chicken Broth
- 10 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 cup 2% Milk
- 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Onions (diced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 3-quart casserole dish to prevent sticking.
- Pat the boneless pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and milk in the casserole dish until smooth.
- Stir in uncooked rice, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, and minced garlic into the liquid mixture.
- Lay the seared pork chops on top of the rice mixture, pressing them down gently.
- Cover the casserole tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 50 minutes.
- After 50 minutes, uncover and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
