Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8½ x 4½ inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and eggs until smooth.
- Gently incorporate the melted butter into the wet mixture, ensuring it’s cooled.
- In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, spices, and flour. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar, additional maple syrup, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle the maple glaze over the cooled bread, slice, and serve.
