Description
This delightful iced latte combines the warm, aromatic spices of chai tea with creamy, earthy pumpkin puree, sweetened just right and crowned with a luscious homemade whipped cream. It’s a perfectly balanced, refreshing, and cozy beverage for any time of year.

- 1 cup (240ml) of water
- 2 chai tea bags
- 1 cup (240ml) of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup (60g) of pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons (25g) of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) of heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon (10g) of powdered sugar
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, then remove from heat and steep 2 chai tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
- Whip 1/4 cup of heavy cream with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the cooled chai tea over the ice.
- Add the pumpkin milk mixture to the glass, pouring it over the chai tea and stirring gently to combine.
- Top the drink generously with the prepared whipped cream.
- Finish by sprinkling a dash of pumpkin pie spice on top of the whipped cream.
- Stir gently before consuming to mix flavors thoroughly, or enjoy the layers as they meld.
