Description

Quick and easy Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles recipe, perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner. This dish combines tender chicken, savory noodles, and a sweet and garlicky sauce.

Ingredients

  • For the Chicken: 2 pieces Chicken Breast (boneless and skinless)
  • For the Noodles: 200 grams Noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • For the Sauce: 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (or tamari for gluten-free), 2 tablespoons Honey, 4 cloves Garlic (freshly minced), 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (adjust for thickness)
  • For Optional Vegetables: 1 cup Bell Peppers, 1 cup Broccoli (steamed), 1 cup Snap Peas, 1 cup Carrots (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic for the sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken pieces for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it bubble for 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss everything together for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined in the sticky garlic sauce.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnished with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Marinate chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes for extra flavor.
  • Use pre-cooked chicken for a faster meal.
  • Adjust cornstarch for your desired sauce thickness.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
