Description
An easy twist on Sesame Chicken that’s perfect for busy weeknights! This recipe starts with ground chicken and a sweet & savory sauce and is garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Delicious over rice or all on its own!

- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 Tablespoons honey
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 3–4 green onions (sliced)
- 2–3 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and minced garlic and sauté 6-8 minutes or until chicken is crumbled and no longer pink.
- Whisk the sauce ingredients together and pour over the chicken in the pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds; serve over white rice or in lettuce wraps.
