Description

An easy twist on Sesame Chicken that’s perfect for busy weeknights! This recipe starts with ground chicken and a sweet & savory sauce and is garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Delicious over rice or all on its own!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 Tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1/2 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 34 green onions (sliced)
  • 23 teaspoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 Tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and minced garlic and sauté 6-8 minutes or until chicken is crumbled and no longer pink.
  2. Whisk the sauce ingredients together and pour over the chicken in the pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
  3. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds; serve over white rice or in lettuce wraps.
