Ingredients
- 100ml/31โ2fl oz tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons dried red chilli flakes
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 900g/2lb medium raw prawns,peeled and deveined
- 75g/3oz butter
- 50ml/2fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Put the oil, chilli flakes, garlic and salt in a large glass bowl and mix
well. Stir the prawns into the oil and chilli mixture, cover and refrigerate
for 3 hours, stirring and turning occasionally. - Preheat the grill to very hot. Put the prawns in a single layer on a baking
tray, and brush with any of the remaining oil and chilli mixture. Grill for
about 5 minutes until tender. - Melt the butter with the lemon juice in a small pan, and pour into a
serving jug. - Serve the prawns hot, drizzled with the lemon butter, with boiled rice.
